Clayarch Gimhae Museum of Art’s Ceramic Creative Center, which has been supporting artists’ creative activities since 2006, will be newly expanded to Gimhae Craft Creation Center in December 2024.

Gimhae Craft Creation Center was born in March 2024 when it was selected as the only space in the country for the ‘Craft Creation Center Creation Project’, and aims to establish itself as a craft creation space that encompasses Busan, Gimhae, and the eastern Gyeongnam region in the future.

Gimhae Craft Creation Center continues to promote existing international workshops and residency projects, and at the same time, operates projects to support the use of facilities and equipment as well as support for creation, research, education, publicity, and sales for local craftsmen. In addition, we want to promote‘Gimhae, the craft city’ through citizen c raft education and craft tourism specialization projects to spread craft culture.

The center consists of four buildings, and the main facilities include a ceramics, digital, and glass craft studio equipped with professional equipment and facilities, a traditional wood-burning kiln, a wood&iron workshop, a camera studio for education and publicity, an education room, and other networking room and art shops.
